UPSC Revised Exam Calendar 2020 Released By The Union Public Service Commission – Check New Dates For Civil Services, EPFO EO / AO, CAPF, NDA, CDS & Other Exams

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has conducted a special meeting today i.e. on 5th June 2020 to review the situation of Exams after COVID-19 Lockdown and progressive relaxation being announced by the Centra Government and Various States. After review, the commission has decided to issue a revised exam schedule for exams conducted in the year 2020. Exam Dates and online application dates for various exams are now changed by the UPSC. Key Points regarding UPSC revised exam calendar 2020 are given below.

NDA & NA Exam (I), 2020: Revised Exam Dates for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Exam (I), 2020 is 6th September, 2020 (Sunday)



Civil Services / Forest Services (Preliminary) Exam 2020: Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 and Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 is now scheduled to be conducted on 4th October 2020.

I.E.S. / I.S.S. Exam 2020: Online applications for Indian Economic Services / Indian Statistical Services 2020 will start from 10th June and will be open till 30th June. Written Exam for fort the same will be conducted by the UPSC on 16th June 2020 (Friday).

Combined Medical Services Exam, 2020: Online applications for UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination, 2020 will start from 22nd July and will be open till 11th October 2020. Written Exam for the same will be conducted on 22nd October 2020.

UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam, 2020: Online applications for UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2020 will open from 18th August and candidates can apply till 7th September, 2020. Written Exam for UPSC CAPF AC 2020 will be conducted 20th December, 2020.

Other Changes: Written Exam for Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Exam, 2020 will now be conducted on 8th October 2020 (Saturday) and Written Exam for Engineering Services (Mains) Exam, 2020 will be conducted on 9th October 2020. Civil Services (Mains) Examination 2020 will be conducted from 8th January 2020 and Indian Forest Services (Mains) Exam 2020 will be conducted from 28th February, 2020.

No Change: However there is no change in some exams. Online applications for UPSC NDA & NA Examination (II) will open from previously scheduled date i.e. from 10th June 2020 and will remain open till 30th June and exam will be conducted on 6th September (i.e. Same as per previous Schedule). CDS (II) Exam, 2020 will also be conducted as per previous schedule on 8th November 2020 and online applications for this exam will start from 5th August 2020.

UPSC EPFO EO / AO Exam 2020: Recruitment Test for the post of Enforcement Officer / Accounts Officer in Employee’s Provident Fund Organisation i.e. for UPSC EPFO EO / AO Exam 2020 has been deferred. New dates for conducting this exam will be published by the UPSC at the time of issue of Exam Calendar for 2021
